Health Ministry to hold town hall meeting in Marriaqua this weekend

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment will hold a town hall meeting this weekend with the residents of Marriaqua.

The meeting, which will be hosted by Mnister of Health Clayton Burgin, will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 4 p.m., at the Marriaqua Government School.{{more}} The meeting has been called to hold a conversation on the proposed construction of the Mesopotamia Polyclinic, inclusive of the temporary relocation of the services currently offered at the Levi Latham Health Centre.

At the meeting, remarks will be delivered by Parliamentary Representative for Marriaqua Girlyn Miguel, Minister Burgin and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment Luis de Shong.

There will also be presentations by health planner David Latchman, Sekai Bowman of the Central Planning Division, Allister Browne of the Ministry of Transport and Works, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Raymond Ryan, and a representative of Hutchinson’s Construction.
