USC stands in solidarity with SVG

The Caring University Church at the University of the Southern Caribbean paused to stand in mourning with their Vincentian students today. A segment of the church service was dedicated to the families of the victims and survivors of the Fancy tragedy that occurred on January 12, 2015.{{more}}

Over 500 students bowed their heads in solidarity with their VINADA compatriots, as Dr Clinton Valley, university president, offered up a special prayer of comfort for the families of the victims and survivors, and the nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Dr Fazadudin Hosein, church pastor and dean of the School of Theology and Religion, shared a statement of empathy from the University’s Church Administration and Student Body to the VINADA Club as representatives for the Government and nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines on the University’s Main Campus in Maracas, St Joseph, Trinidad.
