This was the forth such delivery, the group having done so with help from North American groupings before. This time, the URAC was working and handing over these items donated by the SVG Reading Region Association from London England.

On handing over the items, member of the URAC Mrs Clarke said that her association is pleased to be helping those who have for months been affected and have no home just yet.

The URAC’s next community affair would take place on December 11 at the National Insurance Services Centre at Cane Grove. This is the 10th annual Christmas Luncheon for the elderly and less fortunate in the South and Central Leeward district. The Association is hoping to provide for 60 persons at this luncheon from 12 noon.

Clarke thanked the Reading Region for their donation and pledged to work with them on any occasion that will benefit the people of SVG.
