UWI Open Campus Open House begins today

The Annual Open House hosted by the University of the West Open Campus will take place here in St Vincent and the Grenadines from today, November 11 to Friday, November 14, 2014.{{more}}

This year, visiting from the St Augustine Campus are: Dr Daren Conrad, lecturer in the Department of Economics; Nigel Bradshaw, Student Recruitment officer and Cheryl Layne, senior administrative assistant, Student Affairs. They are joined by Halimah DeShong, lecturer at the Institute for Gender and Development Studies, Cave Hill Campus.

The team will visit students at various secondary schools throughout the island, and the Nursing Education and Arts, Sciences and General Studies Divisions of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.

The team will make a courtesy call on Prime Minister, Dr Ralph E Gonsalves, today Tuesday, November 11.

An Open Day will be held on Friday, November 14 at the Open Campus from 1:30 to 5 p.m. The Open Campus encourages parents and prospective students to come out, meet and interact with faculty and administrative staff about academic programmes, scholarships, and other opportunities available at the University of the West Indies.
