Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves told journalists on Tuesday that the team arrived on Monday and are in discussion with the Ministry of Transport and Works concerning practical matters.

“I’ve seen the final memorandum draft that was sent to me and between the Ministry of Works and the AG (Attorney General), they are working with the Ecuadorians on that,” he said.

Gonsalves added that plans are being finalized with regard to housing arrangements for the team, which will be doing work on four bridges in this country.

Included in the $11.3 million project is the building of what will be the longest bridge in St Vincent at Hope, Vermont, and three other bailey bridges in the Chateaubelair and Fitz Hughes area.
