A businessman of Kingstown Park is said to be in stable condition at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after suffering gunshot wounds about his body.{{more}}

Police say that 38-year-old Keon Lawrence was shot at Rose Place on August 9, at about 7:10 p.m.

It is unclear how many times Lawrence was shot.

According to sources in Rose Place, two masked men, both of whom had buckets, entered a shop where Lawrence was sitting, pulled guns from the buckets and began shooting.

Both men then fled the scene and were seen running in the direction of Nine Steps.

Up to press time, there had been no arrest in the matter.

Investigations are continuing.(KW)
