SISVG adds value to lives of 30 girls

By attending the Soroptimist International St Vincent and the Grenadines (SISVG) 2014 summer programme, 30 girls have had value added to their lives.

According to a release, the programme was held from July 14 to July 18 at the Girl Guides Headquarters and focused on the empowerment and personal development of girls between the ages of 14 and 18.{{more}}

Under the theme “Girls on Fire,” participants embarked on a week of activities that included fun activities such as tie dyeing, jewelry making, etiquette, community service, which included a trip and donation to the Lewis Punnett Home, as well as sessions on topics such as “Violence against women.”
