RSVGPF awards scholarships to 35, assistance to two students

Thirty-five children will receive full scholarships, and two, assistance, when the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force holds its annual scholarship fund presentation ceremony on Thursday, August 07, 2014, at 4 p.m. at the Old Montrose Police Station.{{more}}

The recipients are children of police officers, who were successful in the recent sitting of the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment Examinations.

The Police Scholarship Fund was started under the leadership of former and first native Commissioner of Police, Colonel Anderson, (deceased) who headed the Police Force between 1954 and 1970.

Commissioner of Police (Ag) Reynold Hadaway will deliver remarks at the ceremony, while Ranelle Roberts, barrister at law and a former recipient of the police scholarship, will deliver the feature address.
