The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the US government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Through the Fulbright Faculty Development program, faculty of Eastern Caribbean universities and colleges can travel to the United States for one or two years of graduate education.

The Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program brings 200 mid-career professionals from different countries to the United States to engage in non-degree study and related professional experiences at select American universities. As a non-degree program, the fellowship offers valuable opportunities for professional development through selected university courses, conferences, networking, and practical work experiences.
