Pharmacy awareness week commences this Sunday

The SVG Pharmaceutical Association Inc (SVGPAInc) will be working along with allied health professionals and other pharmacy associated members in a week of events beginning Sunday.{{more}}

Among the activities to be held are radio and television programmes, newspaper articles, highlighting the role of the pharmacist in health care and other health related topics.

There will also be a health fair, which will take place on the Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9, to be held at the Kingstown Anglican School Annex, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Saturday.

The fair will cover a variety of health related issues. Several booths will be mounted at the venue.

The pharmaceutical association is hoping that the event will be a learning experience for all visitors to the exhibition. The public is invited to attend.
