Courts World Cup Finals lime hailed a sucess

Officials at furniture and appliance store Courts St Vincent Limited are considering treating their customers to another exclusive lime, following what commercial manager Lisa Veira described as “a fantastic” outing on the weekend.{{more}}

Veira, commenting on Courts’ World Cup Finals lime, which was held last Sunday at Club SOV, said that the people who attended the event to view the championship match between Argentina and Germany “had such a blast,” that the company may be considering doing something similar, sooner than in another four years.

“We don’t think we can wait another four years to spend quality time with our customers; so maybe in the near future Courts customers can once again be invited to lime with us for another world class sporting event,” Veira said.

On Sunday, customers and their companions who turned up for the evening’s affair, were greeted personally by Veira and other Courts staff members, and were ushered to the Fuma Lounge, where SOV staff, two big screen television sets, as well as DJ Black Ice from Outta Road Jugglers were waiting.

The guests were treated throughout the nail biting occasion with snacks, drinks, and football shaped cupcakes as well as a cake bearing the logos of the two clashing finalists.

During half time and the other game breaks, the guests were kept busy with games and quizzes, in which they won Courts memorabilia, including a Courts labelled sports folding chair.

Following the game, which Germany won one nil in extra time, and though some football fans were happier than others, all in attendance said that the day was well spent, and thanked Courts for allowing them to view the game in the company of other fans.

The customers also hinted that it would be nice if the occasion could be repeated in the next four years, if not sooner.

Veira said that Courts was pleased to host the customers at the lime, and that it was the company’s way of giving back to some of the people who support them with their purchases.

“We look forward to serving our customers not only with the top brands that we offer at our stores, but also by adding value to a special occasion that is celebrated once every four years.

“Courts looks forward to the continued patronage of the Vincentian public, and we also look forward to serving them with class.”
