A St Vincent national was shot and injured in La Pearle, Richfond, Dennery in the wee hours of Thursday July 10.{{more}}

Reports are that 34-year-old Cadet Joseph was sleeping in an open wooden hut when the gunman entered and fired a shot in his direction at about 1 a.m.

Joseph sustained a wound to his left thigh and was admitted at Victoria Hospital in stable condition.

Police sources say the suspect is also from St. Vincent.

The police are also investigating Joseph’s immigration status.(SNO)
