Rivulet resident shot to death at Kingstown Park

Kevin Greaves has been added to the murder statistics, after being gunned down one week ago.

The 36-year-old Rivulet resident became this country’s 21st murder victim, after he was shot at Kingstown Park by (an) unknown assailant(s). He later died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.{{more}}

SEARCHLIGHT understands that Greaves was visiting a friend in the area, and had just left the friend’s home and entered his vehicle when he was attacked.

According a source, when Greaves got into his car, someone approached the vehicle and fired up to 10 shots at Greaves.

The source said that the wounded man exited the vehicle and stumbled into the road, where the assailant continued to pepper him with bullets.

After the gunman finished his assault, he entered a waiting SUV, which took off in the direction of Kingstown, with the shooter firing shots into the air.

The father of two was then taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are investigating the shooting. (JJ)
