Union Island man dies three days after being shot

A Union Island man who was shot in the abdomen on Sunday, June 29, succumbed to his injury three days later.{{more}}

Police confirm that Matthan Slater, 39, died on Wednesday, at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

According to reports, at about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, Slater was in the vicinity of âYankeeâ shop on Higginson Street, when someone approached him and shot him in the abdomen.

Up to press time, no arrests had been made in the matter.

Investigations are continuing (KW).
