Red Cross receives monetary donation from CIBC

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society was the recipient of a donation of $500 from the CIBC FirstCaribbean bank last week.{{more}}

The gift from the bank is to be used for the organization’s Non-communicable Disease Outreach programme, through education, awareness and management of the diseases.

The Red Cross Society is on an ongoing campaign in the fight against NCDs: diabetes, hypertension, asthma and others, as they seek to improve the lives of Vincentians in the various communities in which they serve.

The cheque was presented to Youth Officer Leroy Roberts of the Red Cross by CIBC FCIB Business Support officer Jacintha Hinds.(JJ)
