Make-up demonstration a success – AmirhD

Amirh Dennie, owner of ‘Makeup by AmirhD,’ has hailed her second live make-up demonstration a success.

Participants were trained in areas ranging from basic to advanced makeup skills and techniques, skin care, foundation selection, tools, brow sculpting, eyelash application, highlight and contour, proper eye shadow/blush application, blending, as well as beauty tips and tricks.

According to Dennie, the morning session included a live, full face make-up demonstration/makeover and during the evening session, participants paired up and recreated different looks on each other.

She added that the participants particularly enjoyed the brow sculpting segment and promised never to be seen in public again with “halo” brows.

“The hands-on experiences are important and fun. The class is suitable for persons who want to learn the art of make-up and sharpen their make-up application skills…,” Dennie stated.

Participant Lafleur Benn said she enjoyed the class and loved the beauty products she received in her gift bag and would recommend the class to anyone.

The women in attendance were: Anna Barker, Lafleur Benn, Ayanna Bobb, Colette Bonadie, Kimalla Cambridge, Shebby-Ann Dennie, Whitney Lampkin, Kemesha Lauren, Nakeisha Prince Nero, Melissa Sargeant, Glenna Thomas, Atina Williams, Ferlicia Williams and Javorne Williams. The models were Deri Dickson and Niska Stewart.

The next make-up class is scheduled for Saturday, July 19th, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
