New executive at Police Credit Union
A new executive was elected at the recent 11th Annual General Meeting of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Co-operative Credit Union Ltd (SVGPCCU) to manage the affairs of the organization.{{more}}
Seymonde Mulcaire was appointed manager of the SVGPCCU while Junior Simmons was elected president of the Board of Directors; Collin May, vice president; Cecil Straker, secretary; Michael Charles, treasurer; Thecla Andrews, assistant secretary/treasurer; Curtis Clarke, public relations officer and Catherine Cuffy, director/chaplain.
Horace Williams was elected chairman of the Credit Committee Levon Murray secretary and Angus Morris and Rosalo McKie, members.
The Supervisory and Compliance Committee will comprise Henry Delplesche, chairman; Heather Williams, secretary; and members Alpheus Grant, Sylvester John and Grafton Samuel.
Meldon James has been elected chairman of the Education and Marketing Committee; Hawkins Nanton, deputy chairman; Karla Timm, secretary; and members Lovitha Boyea, Nekisha Layne, Henry Providence, and Dexter Sutherland.
The SVGPCCU Ltd, established in January 2003, was the brainchild of then Commissioner of Police William Harry. The Police Credit Union replaced the Police Benefit Club, which was set up as a compulsory savings club for police officers.
Since 2003, the Credit Union has grown and developed into a thriving and competitive institution with a growing financial base.
