GHS student is latest SSBQ winner
Dennesha Letteen, a third form student of the St Vincent Girlsâ High School, was presented with her prize, which included a Bible, $100 cash, and an Acute Cosmetics gift voucher valued $150, by Joel Jack, coordinator of the Secondary School Bible Quiz (SSBQ) on Wednesday, June 18 at her school.{{more}}
The monthly quiz was first won by a student of the GHS in November, 2007 and Dennesha is the 17th winner from that school.
Deputy headmistress Michele Beache and form teacher Shermine Barnwell were on hand to witness the presentation.
The SSBQ wishes to congratulate all those who were successful at the recent Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) and to invite them to participate in the quiz regularly from September when they begin their secondary school career.
Joel Jack, coordinator of the Quiz, wishes to inform all participants that the monthly cash prize will be increased to $150 from the July Quiz.
