“Ron Rose, formerly of New Grounds, began this project with modest donations to Secondary School children from the area that were highly motivated but socially and economically challenged. This Non-Profit agency has been soliciting donations and is now able to offer an annual scholarship for University and some support for Secondary and Community College students,” a release said.

Persons who live in the historic Union Methodist School “catchment area” – Mt. Grennan to Greiggs, will be eligible to apply for this annual scholarship. This community driven initiative looks forward to generating sufficient support from interested and sympathetic individuals and organisations to expand its scope, work and reach.

Residents from Mt. Grennan to Greiggs are especially invited to attend this important launch.
