On May 15, the CIBC group worldwide said âThank Youâ to employees for their contribution, dedication, and professional service, by hosting Employee Appreciation Day.
Here in St Vincent and the Grenadines, staff members were greeted warmly at the door with a corsage inscribed âWe value you. We love you,â by senior staff, as they arrived to work, then were treated to breakfast and presented with Thank You cards.
Every two hours, staff members were engaged in various activities that saw them winning prizes throughout the day. These included a treasure hunt, a parking lot challenge, a quiz called âHow well do you know your employee,â and an end of day staff draw, which saw one lucky staff member driving off with a fruit basket that was secretly placed in their vehicle.
Employees were also presented with awards for exceptional performance at work, and going beyond the call of duty.
