CYAM to host art exhibition next week

An art exhibition, featuring the original artwork in the BOSVG 2014 “Pan on Canvas” calendar, will open here next week.{{more}}

The exhibition is being put on by the Contemporary Young Artists’ Movement (CYAM), in collaboration with the Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines (BOSVG).

The opening will be held on Monday, May 26 at 3 p.m. in the foyer of the Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines (Reigate Building) Granby Street, Kingstown, SVG.

The exhibition, the first in a series of events marking CYAM’s 10th anniversary, will be on display from May 26 – June 14, 2014.

CYAM is group of Vincentian artists who engage in various community based projects such as a national radio program ‘The Art Room’, community mural paintings, sustainable agriculture and inter-generational skills exchange activities. The group embraces all graduates of the SVGCC Art and Design program, many of whom are involved in various artistic vocations.
