Forum to be held in Bequia on outbreak of Chikungunya virus
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment will host two community meetings in Bequia as a consequence of the outbreak of the Chikungunya virus.{{more}}
The first meeting will be held this evening, May 13, at the Paget Farm Community Centre, beginning at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, May 14, the second meeting will be held at the Bequia Anglican Primary School in Port Elizabeth, beginning at 6 p.m.
The district medical officer on Bequia and other health professionals who serve in the Health Promotion Unit and the Insect Vector Control Unit will attend both sessions, a release from the Ministry said.
The public is invited to attend.
