Delicia wins ‘selfie’ competition

Taking a photo of one’s self (a selfie) is the new craze and just by doing this, Digicel customer Shonnell Delicia won herself a brand new Digicel DL600 smart phone.{{more}}

On Friday, April 11, Delicia took part in a Facebook promotion put on by Digicel, which asked persons to take a selfie with something that says “Digicel” and post it on the company’s Facebook page.

Delicia had the fastest fingers and, as a result, posted her selfie first, winning the gadget.

The excited Delicia collected her DL 600 on Thursday, April 17, from Marketing executive at Digicel Danielle Cupid.

After receiving her phone at Digicel’s corporate offices, located in the Lewis Building on James Street, Delicia said that she is going to put the device to good use.

“Thanks for the new phone and I’m very happy to have won it by doing something so simple,” she said.
