Haaliah to represent SVG in Guadeloupe

St Vincent and the Grenadines will once again be represented in the annual French Caribbean song competition “Le Défi Lycéens” in Guadeloupe.{{more}}

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 12, fourth form student Haaliah King of the St Vincent Girls’ High School will compete with students from the English and French-speaking Caribbean islands.

Haaliah will render two songs: a local song, “This Island” by Bomani and a popular song “Stay” by Rihanna.

In 2012, Kelsie Haynes, a then third former of the Girls’ High School convincingly won the title as she mesmerised the audience with her powerful voice.
