Escaped prisoner caught

Desmond ‘Cat’ Pavy, the Trinidadian national who escaped from Her Majesty’s Prison at Belle Isle on February 22nd, 2014, has been caught in Trinidad and Tobago, one month after he went on the run.{{more}}

Local police confirmed Pavy’s recapture in a release yesterday.

Pavy was serving a custodial sentence at Her Majesty’s Prison for being in possession of a controlled drug. He was caught on March 24th, 2014.

The police say an extradition hearing in Trinidad and Tobago is scheduled for April 23, 2014.
