Dead body discovered in house at Calliaqua

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a dead body in a house in Calliaqua, yesterday.{{more}}

Head of the Criminal Investigations Department Assistant Superintendent, Sydney James said the body of Clarence “Bambi” Shepherd was discovered in a house near to the Kelectric/Kelcom Building in Calliaqua.

While no foul play is suspected, James said a post mortem will be done to ascertain the cause of death.

Police will also carry out a post mortem examination on the body of Jevie Smith, 41, of Byera, whose decomposed body was found at Byera at about 10 p.m., on March 27. (KW)
