SVG Red Cross receives donation

On Tuesday, March 25th, 2014, members of the Executive of the SVG Medical Association – Dr N. Lewis, (secretary) and Shannon Durrant (treasurer) handed over to the SVG Red Cross several packages of clothing,{{more}} linen, pillows, and other personal and household items to be distributed to the families who suffered losses during the passage of the trough system on December 24, 2013.

These gifts were accompanied by the presentation of a cheque for $2,610 from the organization.

Julia Simmons of the Red Cross Society was available to accept the donations and thanked the Medical Association for these contributions.
