Supplementary Estimates to be presented in two weeks
Parliamentarians are expected to return to the House of Assembly in two weeks for the Supplementary Estimates, followed by the supplementary budget debate.{{more}}
Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves announced that the new estimates will be heard on March 13, and the debate on March 17 and 18.
In January, the Prime Minister announced that the 2014 budget was âinterim in nature,â and that supplementary estimates and a supplementary Appropriation Bill will have to be tabled, in response to the 2013 Christmas disaster.
