Clayton Burgin, Minister for Health, Wellness and the Environment, left the State on February 23, 2014, to attend the Meeting of Ministers of Health of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America â Trade Treaty of Peoples (ALBA-TPC),{{more}} which is being held in Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on February 24 and 25, 2014.
The meeting is a response to the commitments contained in the Act of the V Meeting of the ALBA Social Council and the Second Summit of Heads of State and Government ALBA TCP-PETROCARIBE.
This important meeting has a main objective to reinvigorate the commitments in the area of health to strengthen the right of universalisation of health of our people.
The Minister is accompanied by the chief medical officer Dr Simone Keizer Beache.
