The announcement, issued by the Guyana-based Secretariat yesterday said:

“The Twenty-Fifth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) in Buccament Bay, St Vincent and the Grenadines, has been postponed from 24 and 25 February, 2014, to 10 and 11 March, 2014.

“The postponement was necessary as the original dates were inconvenient to some Heads of Government.”

The meeting would be chaired by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, who took over the six-month rotating chairmanship of CARICOM in January.
