Taiwan providing more scholarships

In order to encourage more Vincentians to study in Taiwan, First Secretary Richard Chen and First Secretary Philip Shih of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), will make presentations on the 2014 Taiwan Scholarship at the SVG Community College and the National Public Libary.{{more}}

The first presentation will be held at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education on February 19 at 1p.m.; the second presentation will take place at the Division of Arts, Sciences, and General Studies on February 20 at 10 a.m. and the third presentation is to be held at the National Public Library on February 28 at 4 p.m.

The aforesaid presentations are aiming to introduce to the audience the benefits, qualifications, the requirements and application procedures of the Scholarship.

The President of the SVG Taiwan Alumni Association Gordon Shallow and other members of the association will be invited to share their experiences of study in Taiwan.

The Taiwan Embassy welcomes Vincentian students and youths who are interested in pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in Taiwan to attend the presentations. For more information, please call the Embassy at 4562431.
