Opposition leader Arnhim Eustace feels “other heads have to roll” following the recall of Deputy Consul General in New York Edson Augustus.{{more}}

“Other people must have known what was going on,” Eustace said on radio yesterday, as he reacted to news of the recall.

The Opposition Leader also slammed the Government’s statement on the matter, as not providing enough details to the Vincentian public, saying it more resembles a government to government statement.

Eustace said he believes the authorities in Washington would have been aware of Augustus’ activities, and he is concerned that the matter could negatively impact US travel by Vincentians.

“We cannot afford to have further restrictions on Vincentian travel following the Canadian imposition of visa requirements,” Eustace said.
