New Democratic Party member welcomed at ULP’s convention

Outspoken political commentator and staunch supporter of the New Democratic Party Frank Da Silva made a surprise appearance at the 20th convention of the Unity Labour Party (ULP).{{more}}

Da Silva, who went to the session as an observer, was greeted by cheers from the delegates at the Campden Park Secondary School, and welcomed to the session by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, who left his seat at the podium to embrace his political rival.

The controversial radio talk show host made headlines recently, when lawyers in his “Vote No” case against the Government unceremoniously withdrew their services.
