Pregnant teen shot at Ottley Hall

Police are on the hunt for Lara Carter, a resident of Ottley Hall, for his alleged involvement in the shooting of 19-year-old Denisha Baptiste of the same address.{{more}}

According to the Police, the incident took place sometime around 9:55 Saturday night.

Baptiste, who was pregnant at the time, was reportedly shot in the back.

Doctors at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital were able to save both the mother and baby.

Up to press time, Baptiste and her newborn daughter were still patients at the MCMH.

Investigations are ongoing.(DD)
