According to Alexis John, senior marketing executive of Courts, the TCL brand, which produces electrical appliances, was introduced to St Vincent and the Grenadines about two to three years ago and is ranked number three in the television market.

The campaign ran from October 26 to December 31, 2013 and gave Courts’ customers a chance to win $25,000 when they purchased TCL televisions 32 inches and up.

The grand draw was held at Courts on January 8 and Alma Richardson drew the winner’s name from a box.

“Wherever you are, sir, we are coming to get you and to hand to you $25,000,” said John.

A quick phone call was made to Abrams and the Courts team journeyed to his home in Villa to deliver his prize.

“This is quite a surprise. I feel good,” said a delighted Abrams.

He noted that this was the first time he had ever won something so big. He also noted that he has been a customer at Courts for about 10 years.

Abrams has not made any plans for the money, but is thankful to Courts and TCL.(CA)
