Bethel past students join relief efforts
The Bethel High School Past Student Association has joined others in bringing relief to persons affected by the flooding and landslides two weeks ago.{{more}}
Representatives of the association journeyed to Fitz-Hughes, Rose Bank and Spring Village on Saturday, January 4 and distributed packages of food and clothes to those affected by the floods.
A release from the association said they targetted children in those areas and will return to those communities shortly.
âWe also welcome donations of non perishable items at our various dropoff points, or you can contact a member of the association,â a release said.
The drop off points are Colleen @# 16 shop, ground floor of the vegetable market in Kingstown, 530-2865 and Ashanti Prince at Merle groceries at Middle Street.
Contributions may also be left at the Bethel High School, when school reopens.
