With Christmas in the air and in the spirit of giving, Western Union will for the fifth consecutive year host its Customer Appreciation Day.{{more}}

The event takes place today, Friday, December 20, at the Western Union Office in Kingstown between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.

The event is designed to reward Western Union’s customers for their support throughout the year, especially since everyone welcomes “something extra” for the festive season. It will take the form of customers having a chance to win cash giveaways when they conduct a transaction on that day.

A release said Western Union has seen tremendous growth in this activity over the years and as such would like everyone to share in the experience, hence the Customer Appreciation Day will be broadcast LIVE on SVGTV and simultaneously on Hitz 103.7 from 12:30 p.m.

Western Union’s “Christmas Top up your phone or basket promotion” will end Monday, December 23. The promotion rewards customers who send money with their Western Union card with a chance to win weekly prizes of US$200, C.K. Greaves grocery vouchers or two prizes of US$50 phone top ups.
