The event kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Victoria Park on December 21, and according to Heric Horne of Island Networks, it is going to be a fun evening for the entire family.

“It’s our way of giving back to those who supported us throughout the year, so we will be giving every child who walks into the Victoria Park a free gift,” Horne said.

A cross section of eats and games will be available for the little ones he said, and then in the evening, they will get to hear their favourite Soca Dan perform.

“The evening is one where you will see the Soca Dans and their friends in a different light,” Horne said.

He added that the atmosphere would be one suited for the holiday season and not that of carnival.

Sponsors LIME and the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) will be providing children’s passes at LIME with every purchase of $10 top up, the individual will receive two children’s passes.

Similarly, with every purchase of $10 or more of any NLA games, the customer will receive two free children’s passes.

The event is expected to end at 7 when the carolling contest is expected to begin.
