At the launch of the LIME Christmas campaign, manager of the group of talented artistes Herric Horne announced that the crew, which includes Fireman Hooper, Luta, Shaunelle Mckenzie and DJ Q, will be hosting a âKiddies Christmasâ event on December 21 at the Victoria Park.
âItâs Island Network and LIME Soca Dansâ way of giving back to the kids,â Horne said at the launch, which took place last Friday.
âWe will be doing a kidsâ carnival in Christmas and every child that comes to the Victoria Park will be leaving with a toy.
âOn that day, there will be fun games, horseback riding, photo booth with the artistes, and what is a Christmas carnival without Santa and elves?â
Horne indicated that along with LIME, the event has garnered the support of the National Lotteries Authority, Subway, the Carnival Development Committee, and a number of others who have indicated their interest.
âEverything associated with fun and Christmas will be at the Victoria Park, so we are inviting parents and children to come out and join us. At the end of the event, we will have the National Lotteries Christmas Carolling Competition.
Horne also indicated that the childrenâs tickets are free with the topping up of 10 dollars earning two free tickets at LIME, while adults will be expected to pay a small entry fee. Complimentary tickets will also be available at the partner locations.
Marketing officer of LIME Nikala Williams expressed that LIME was happy to be a part of the event and urged parents to bring their children out to the one of a kind event.
