Rudolph Mc Tair, a 51-year-old resident of Green Hill, told SEARCHLIGHT yesterday that he was making his usual deliveries in the Glen area, when he was approached by a masked individual who shot him in the right leg, just below his kneecap, and ran off with a sum of money.

Speaking from his bed at the Accident and Emergency department of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, Mc Tair revealed that he had been scheduled to travel to the area earlier in the day, but was unable to because he was busy.

He however made the journey later and arrived at the shop at around 3:20 p.m.

He was shot and robbed just about 10 minutes after his arrival.
