Nicole Charles and Annetta Tobierre, will on Friday, November 22 officially open a small business bookkeeping service and the Serenity Day and Mobile Spa respectively, on the third floor of the Raphael Lewis Building on Grenville Street.

Charles, a returning national and certified accountant, will offer her services to small businesses, in an effort to help them to become more efficient and profitable.

She will also be offering training in QuickBooks and free consultations until the end of the month, as part of her promotional campaign.

A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,(ACCA) Charles hopes to be a tuition provider for ACCA and plans to get started in January next year.

She not only will be working with small businesses, but she is a small business owner herself and understands what it is like to be “a small fish in the sea”.

Charles says she knows the importance of small businesses and the unique services they offer, and aims to create a niche in her marketplace, as she attempts to encourage small businesses to keep accurate records that will allow them to know exactly how well they are doing.

Like Charles, Tobierre is an aspiring business woman who plans to make a name for herself in the service industry.

The St Lucian born massage therapist was previously located in Bequia, but has moved to the mainland in an effort to rebrand her business and to offer her service to a larger clientele.

Dedicated and self-driven with fifteen years experience, Tobierre indicated that not only can customers come to the facility, but Serenity Day Spa can also show its flexibility by going to the customer.

Tobierre says she wants to share the healing power of therapeutic service, and also hopes to be a mentor for women and men who want to enter that career field.

She feels that there is a need for these services both locally and regionally, and said that she would love to see all people live healthier, happier lifestyles through alternative medicines and therapeutic services. (JJ)
