Energy Unit to host Energy Expo at Heritage Square

As part of Caricom Energy Week 2013, the Energy Unit will be hosting an Energy Expo at Heritage Square this Saturday, November 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.{{more}}

The purpose of this expo is to display the different technologies available for reducing energy consumption and producing power from renewable resources, a release from the organizers said.

As part of the expo, there will be displays of energy efficient equipment and lights, as well as a Solar PV system. Personnel will also be on hand to answer questions from visitors to the event.

The week will culminate with a walk from Heritage Square to Vinlec’s Cane Hall Engineering Complex and back, beginning at 4 p.m.

The general public is invited to come and be part of both events.
