As part of Caricom Energy Week 2013, the Energy Unit will be hosting an Energy Expo at Heritage Square this Saturday, November 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.{{more}}
The purpose of this expo is to display the different technologies available for reducing energy consumption and producing power from renewable resources, a release from the organizers said.
As part of the expo, there will be displays of energy efficient equipment and lights, as well as a Solar PV system. Personnel will also be on hand to answer questions from visitors to the event.
The week will culminate with a walk from Heritage Square to Vinlecâs Cane Hall Engineering Complex and back, beginning at 4 p.m.
The general public is invited to come and be part of both events.
