Dickson and Williams win KPS reading competition

Aaliyah Dickson and Nicholai Williams are the winners of the Kingstown Preparatory School first grade 4 and grade 3 reading competion.{{more}}

The grade four segment of the competition was held on October 23, and had six participants. The winner of that segment was Aaliyah Dickson. Second was Tia Ballantyne and third was Jadiah Sampson. The best narrative and best newspaper article were captured by Aaliyah Dickson.

The grade three competition was held on November 7. First place was captured by Nicholai Williams, while J-Neen Toney took the second position and Abigail Richards was in third place. Nicholai Williams was awarded the prizes for the best narrative and the best newspaper article. Eight students participated in this segment.

The first place winners each received a trophy from KCCU along with books. The other participants also received books sponsored by Gaymes Book Centre, Jujube and St Vincent Teachers’ Cooperative Credit Union Book Shop.
