In handing over the cheque to Sister Nyra Anne, Tamra Antrobus of United Insurance stated that the company continues to provide financial assistance to St Benedict’s because it recognized the role of the institution in providing for the less fortunate of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

“After 50 years of service to the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines, there is still a lot for them to do as they strive to provide for the underprivileged children of our nation. We want to help in any way we can,” said Brackin.

“We are extremely grateful for the assistance which United Insurance has provided. This will go a long way in allowing us to make progress with our new building and allowing us to support the individuals who need it most,” noted Sister Nyra Anne.

United Insurance is one of the leading general insurance companies in the Caribbean and operates in 14 countries across the region. The company actively contributes to the community in St Vincent and the Grenadines as it supports the Bequia Regatta, the United Insurance Secondary Schools Cricket Competition and the recently concluded United Insurance Invitational Swim Meet.
