SVG medical association to host list of events in October

The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association wishes to inform the general public of its calendar of events for its October activities.{{more}}

On Friday, October 4, the SVG Medical Association will host PINK DAY with sales of Things PINK, under the SINGER Gallery from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This fund-raising event is geared at assisting persons afflicted with breast cancer and who require travel assistance for treatment elsewhere in the region.

On sale will be pink Tee-shirts, their iconic PINK CAPS for the City Walk, pink “Army-styled Dog-Tag” necklaces, key chains, bracelets with messages of HOPE & STRENGTH, pink cup cakes, and other Things PINK.

The traditional Pink Cap City Walk will take place on Friday, October 18 and begin at 3:30 p.m. from Heritage Square, proceed down Bay Street to Higginson Street, to Grenville Street, Halifax Street back to Heritage Square and close with a brief educational rally and very stimulating cultural package.

The SVG Medical Association will also be hosting the College and Career Exhibition on October 16 and 17 at the Methodist Church Hall – from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. This event is in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, and will see a number of institutions display their college and career programs for all Vincentian to participate in this very important event. This is open to the general public with no admission fee.
