This will be followed by a procession to the Botanic Gardens for a tree planting exercise.

President Ma Ying-jeou will meet with the Governor General at Government House, then journey to Colonarie, for the official opening of the Colonarie Bridge.

A visit to the construction site of the Argyle international airport, which includes the terminal building being constructed with a grant from Taiwan, is also scheduled.

Prime Minister Gonsalves and President Ma will then meet at the Cabinet Room, for the signing of a joint communiqué between both leaders.

This activity will be followed by a reception hosted by Weber Shih, the Ambassador of Taiwan to St Vincent and the Grenadines.

President Ma is expected to leave the state late tomorrow evening.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Taiwan established diplomatic relations in August 1981.
