Biohazards workshop held this week

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment hosted a workshop on biohazards Wednesday and Thursday, at the conference facility of the National Insurance Services building, from 8:30 a.m. on both days.{{more}}

The participants were drawn from the Community Health Service and the Environmental Management Department within the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture etc and the Central Water and Sewerage Authority.

The workshop is designed to evaluate the biohazard waste system in St Vincent and the Grenadines and also to craft a national plan of action to address biohazards. The workshop is supported by the Pan American Health Organisation.
