The KFC So Good Community Challenge (Version 2.0) was launched on June 25 at the KFC Arnos Vale outlet, in conjunction with the Ministry of National Mobilization, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Broadcasting Corporation (SVGBC) and the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA).

During the challenge, community groups are urged to focus on bringing awareness to, and fixing an issue that affects their community and, by extension, St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The community groups which register, and are accepted, will receive EC$500 each from KFC, to assist with the implementation of their project.

The accepted groups will also receive a KFC “Kit” to help them with achieving their goals, as well as KFC branded T-shirts, to identify them in their communities.

During the month of July and August, judges will be travelling from community to community, assessing the work that has been done, and determining the top community.

The announcement of the winner will take place on August 11, with the top three communities receiving trophies and other prizes.

Groups will be judged on creativity, relevance to theme, level of community involvement, marketing appeal, organization and team work.(JJ)
