Courts St Vincent rewards Miss SVG 2013

As part of her reward for winning the Miss SVG 2013 title, Shara George was, on Wednesday, presented with two gifts, compliments Courts St Vincent Ltd.{{more}}

In her first public appearance since winning the crown on June 1, George was presented with a Coby tablet and a Conair curling iron, by the company’s acting senior manager Geraldine Pitt.

The presentation was made during a short ceremony at the store’s head office in Kingstown.

For the past ten years, Courts St Vincent Ltd has awarded the winners of the Miss SVG pageant with gifts.

“…This is a token of our appreciation and again our way of demonstrating how much we are committed to the country and people and, of course, how much we are proud of you as the representative for St Vincent and the Grenadines for Miss Carival 2013,” Pitt said.

“We do hope that you will represent St Vincent and the Grenadines well and we are confident that you will do that…” the acting senior manager added.

Accepting the gifts, George said she was appreciative of Courts’ consideration in awarding her.

“I am very grateful to Courts St Vincent Ltd for awarding me and kudos to Courts for supporting Vincy Mas; and I know, especially with support like this, we will indeed be the hottest carnival in the Caribbean,” George stated. (AA)
