Port groups adopt bus stand near Geest Shed

As part of its activities during the 2013 ASCCCPA Caribbean Port Games, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority Sports and Cultural Club have adopted the bus stand near the Geest Shed.{{more}}

This is in keeping with the organization’s social responsibilities, according to an official. First step was the repainting of the bus shelter by two members from each of the participating countries in this year’s Caribbean Port Games.

Port officials from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St Kitts/Nevis, Saint Lucia, and hosts Saint Vincent and the Grenadines did the painting on May 20.

An official adoption ceremony is being planned and may coincide with the club’s anniversary, which is in October.
